We spent our “quality time” last night watching a documentary on the history channel…

about how Star Trek changed the world. I am so not kidding. Inspired change in the world is perhaps a better description. Everything from modern laser surgery to the space race to even the modern cell phone was apparently inspired by Star Trek. That’s right, you heard me. William Shatner and Jonathan Frakes were supreme in their… well… oddness. Hooray!

I love my wife. I also love William Shatner, but as a friend and colleague in geekiness.
